 So what does volunteering have to do with you? As much as you want, but in the end it is what we give of ourselves that really matters. It is the time we spend helping each other or some stranger without any expectations in return. This is what defines who we are with Christ. There are no worldly returns when helping others. The return we receive is in our heart and this is the gift to us from Jesus as a way of saying He notices. Although we can never do any deeds that earns us entrance into the Kingdom of God, it is our love of Jesus that propels us forward to help others.
